Kirtan Lila is an offering of love, dedicated to my mother, in memory of Janet Armstrong. Thanks to all the people who show up to help with GPaC Kirtan: Rob, Stefan, Nirmal, Valéry, Kim, Gen, Corrine, Wendi, Melanie, Henry and ALL. Thanks to co-producer Andy Schichter. In loving memory and with gratitude for Shyamdas for teaching us the Shyama Gori song in 2011. Special thanks to Vallabh Das for teaching me proper pronunciation and for sending field recordings from Jatipura (a village located next to Govardhan Hill) in Vraja Dham, in India.Thank you to Mohanji, for calling Punchari, "Punchari ke lota ki hoop hoop pyareeee!" I offer humble pranams from a place of deep respect for our parents, teachers, Gurus and for the many beautiful lineages of bhakti yoga. May All Beings Be At Peace. Sandra Leigh

May there be peace in the heavens, peace in the atmosphere, peace on the earth. Let there be peace in the water, in the healing herbs and peace radiating from the trees. Let there be peace in the planets and in the stars, and perfection in eternal knowledge. May all of creation be peaceful. May the entire universe be at peace. Let peace pervade everywhere, equally in the heart of all beings. Let there be peace, and peace within peace.
— Yajur Veda 36.17
